Description

Yamaha Blaster Oil Pump Delete Kit

This Yamaha Blaster oil pump delete kit provides the parts needed to remove the factory oil-injection pump and convert your YFS200 to premixed fuel. It is an excellent choice when rebuilding an engine, simplifying the oiling system or replacing an old and questionable injection system.

The kit includes a precision-made oil-pump block-off plate, oil-pump gasket and clutch-cover gasket. The block-off plate seals the opening left after removing the original injection pump, while the included gaskets help provide a clean, leak-free installation.

Complete Blaster Oil-Injection Delete Kit

Removing the factory pump allows the rider to control the fuel-to-oil ratio directly. Once the conversion is completed, two-stroke oil must be accurately mixed with the gasoline every time the fuel tank is filled.

Important premix warning

After installing this kit, the engine will no longer receive oil from the factory injection system. You must thoroughly mix the correct amount of high-quality two-stroke oil with the gasoline before operating the engine.

Do not run the engine on straight gasoline after deleting the oil pump. Running without premixed oil can cause immediate and severe engine damage.

For most recreational Yamaha Blaster applications, 32:1 is a commonly used premix ratio. Always follow the recommendations for your engine combination and chosen two-stroke oil.

Frequently asked questions

What does a Yamaha Blaster oil pump delete kit do?

It allows the factory oil-injection pump to be removed and seals the opening in the clutch cover. The engine must then be operated using gasoline mixed with two-stroke oil.

Does this kit fit every Yamaha Blaster?

Yes, it is designed for Yamaha YFS200 Blaster models manufactured from 1988 through 2006.

Do I need to split the engine cases?

No. The conversion is performed through the clutch-cover side of the engine and does not normally require separating the crankcases.

Do I have to premix the gasoline after installation?

Yes. Once the injection pump is removed, every gallon of gasoline must be properly mixed with two-stroke oil before it enters the fuel tank.

What premix ratio should I use?

A 32:1 ratio is commonly used in Yamaha Blaster engines. The correct ratio may depend on your engine build, riding conditions and oil manufacturer’s recommendations.

Is installation hardware included?

The kit contains the components shown in the product image. Reuse suitable factory hardware unless additional hardware is specifically listed with the product.
