Description

Genuine Keihin JJH Jet Needle

The Genuine Keihin JJH Jet Needle is a popular tuning choice for Yamaha Blasters equipped with a 28mm Keihin PWK carburetor. The jet needle controls a large portion of the fuel mixture from approximately 1/4 through 3/4 throttle, making it critical to throttle response, acceleration and overall midrange performance.

Unlike questionable aftermarket needles, this is a genuine Keihin precision-metering component manufactured to maintain consistent dimensions and predictable fuel delivery.

JJH Needle Specifications

  • Manufacturer: Keihin
  • Needle designation: 46-JJH
  • Keihin part number: NJT00314
  • Needle series: N427-46
  • Carburetor application: Genuine Keihin 28mm PWK
  • Common application: Yamaha YFS200 Blaster PWK carburetor conversion

Why Use a JJH Needle?

The JJH is a proven baseline needle for many Yamaha Blaster engines running a genuine 28mm PWK carburetor. It provides a useful adjustment range for stock, trail-ported and modified engines.

Needle height is adjusted by moving the retaining clip:

  • Raising the clip lowers the needle and leans the mixture.
  • Lowering the clip raises the needle and richens the mixture.

Final needle position and jetting requirements depend on the engine combination, exhaust system, intake setup, elevation and temperature.

Important Fitment Information

This needle is intended for genuine Keihin carburetors that use the N427-46 needle series. Verify your carburetor model before ordering. Carburetor jetting must always be confirmed through proper testing. Never assume one needle position or jetting combination is safe for every engine.
