Ken OConnor Racing provides precision motorcycle crankshaft rebuilding, connecting rod replacement, crankshaft truing and repair for two-stroke and four-stroke engines. We service single-cylinder, twin-cylinder, vintage and high-performance crankshafts for Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, KTM and other manufacturers. Every crankshaft is carefully assembled, measured and inspected for accuracy before leaving our machine shop.

Why Crankshaft Accuracy Matters
Crankshafts for a single cylinder two-stroke engine consist of counter weights, thrust washers, a pin, lower rod bearing and a connecting rod. These components must be assembled to exact specifications. Even .002 out of specification will cause vibration. Vibration will rob your engine of horsepower, reliability and it drastically reduces engine life!
Our Crankshaft Rebuilding Process
Each crankshaft is assembled using our purpose-built crankshaft assembly fixture. Crankshaft runout, connecting rod alignment and overall accuracy are carefully measured during assembly. Every completed crankshaft undergoes two inspections before it leaves our shop.
