Description
Yamaha Blaster Chain Adjusters
These Yamaha Blaster chain adjusters provide replacement hardware for adjusting the rear axle position when setting drive-chain slack. Working adjusters allow controlled changes on both sides of the axle assembly, helping you maintain alignment while adjusting the chain.
Replace adjusters with bent brackets, damaged threads or seized hardware before completing your chain adjustment.
What’s Included
- Two chain adjuster kits.
- Two metal adjuster brackets.
- Adjustment bolts and nuts shown in the product photo.
The set supplies adjustment hardware for both sides. Compare the pictured components with your existing setup before ordering, especially if your Blaster has an aftermarket swingarm or modified axle assembly.
Purpose and Application
Chain adjusters help position the rear axle assembly to establish the correct chain slack. Both sides must be adjusted consistently so the axle remains properly aligned.
Inspect the chain and sprockets during adjustment. Replacement adjusters cannot compensate for a worn chain, damaged sprockets or problems elsewhere in the axle mounting assembly.
Installation and Adjustment
Follow the Yamaha service manual when loosening the axle mounting hardware and setting chain slack. Adjust both sides as required, verify alignment, then tighten the mounting hardware and adjuster nuts to the appropriate specifications.
Recheck chain slack after tightening. Avoid overtightening the chain, and confirm that the drivetrain moves freely before riding.
