Yamaha Blaster Cylinder Stud Kit
The Yamaha Blaster cylinder stud kit supplies eight replacement studs and eight nuts for your engine project. Replace damaged, corroded or worn hardware during cylinder service or top end rebuilding.
What the kit includes
- Six long studs with 5 mm wrench flats at the top
- Two short studs without wrench flats
- Eight nuts
The wrench flats on the long studs provide a tool engagement point for installation and removal.
Application and purpose
This kit is intended for Yamaha Blaster cylinder hardware replacement. Inspect existing studs for damaged threads, corrosion and other wear before reusing them during engine assembly.
Compare the replacement hardware with your existing components before installation. If your engine uses an aftermarket cylinder or modified components, contact KOR to confirm compatibility.
Installation considerations
Inspect the threaded mounting holes before installing replacement studs. Damaged threads in the cylinder or crankcase require repair; replacement studs alone will not correct them.
Use the appropriate service specifications for stud placement, thread engagement and tightening sequence. Confirm that each nut clamps the component correctly without bottoming out.
