Yamaha Blaster VM26 Jetting

The correct main jet depends on the complete engine combination as well as riding conditions. Exhaust system, air filter, airbox configuration, reeds, engine modifications, elevation and temperature can all affect the amount of fuel the engine requires.

When tuning a two-stroke, start with a safely rich main jet and work toward the correct setting rather than beginning too lean.

For additional help selecting a starting point, use the Ken OConnor Racing Yamaha Blaster VM26 Jetting Calculator.

Built for Yamaha Blaster Owners

Ken OConnor Racing specializes in Yamaha Blaster parts, engine machining and complete engine builds. This jet kit provides the range of Mikuni main jets needed to properly tune the original-style 26mm carburetor as modifications are made to your Blaster.

Important: Jetting recommendations are starting points. Final carburetor jetting should always be verified for the individual engine, fuel, modifications and riding conditions.
