Description
The Yamaha Blaster 240 head gasket from Vito’s is a direct replacement for Blaster engines equipped with a Vito’s 240cc big bore cylinder. It provides the correct fit for the larger cylinder bore and helps seal the combustion chamber between the cylinder and cylinder head.
A dependable head gasket is critical on any two-stroke engine, particularly a modified big bore engine with increased cylinder pressure. A damaged, incorrectly sized or previously compressed gasket can allow combustion pressure or coolant-free air-cooled leakage around the cylinder head sealing surface. This may cause reduced compression, poor performance, oil residue around the head or engine damage.

Tighten the cylinder-head nuts gradually in a crisscross pattern using the correct Yamaha torque specification. Uneven tightening can distort the cylinder head and prevent the gasket from sealing properly.
