Description
Yamaha Blaster 66mm Cylinder Kit with ProX Piston
Most inexpensive import Yamaha Blaster cylinder kits are sold straight out of the box with no inspection, cylinder sizing or port preparation. Ken OConnor Racing takes this kit a step further.
Every cylinder is measured and sized to the supplied 66mm ProX piston. All intake, transfer and exhaust port edges are also carefully chamfered to remove sharp edges that could damage the piston rings during installation or operation.
The result is a cost-effective Yamaha Blaster top-end kit built with better components and properly prepared before it reaches your engine.
Professionally Prepared by KOR
Cylinder-to-piston clearance is critical in any two-stroke engine. We do not assume that an import cylinder is correctly sized simply because it is new. The cylinder and piston are checked as a matched set, and the cylinder is sized to the supplied ProX piston.
Import cylinders may also arrive with sharp port edges or leftover casting imperfections. KOR chamfers every port edge to help the piston rings pass smoothly across the ports and reduce the chance of ring damage.

Why Choose This Yamaha Blaster Cylinder Kit?
A low price does not matter if the cylinder is assembled with incorrect piston clearance, sharp ports or poor supporting components. This package replaces the typical generic import piston with a proven ProX piston kit and includes the parts needed for a complete top-end installation.
Each kit receives professional machine-shop preparation from Ken OConnor Racing before shipping.
Standard 66mm Bore
The Yamaha Blaster uses a 66mm standard bore. This kit maintains the original bore size and is an excellent choice for rebuilding a damaged, worn or seized stock-cylinder engine without paying the cost of a new OEM cylinder.
Important Installation Information
Always clean the cylinder thoroughly before assembly, verify piston-ring end gap and follow the included piston manufacturer’s installation instructions. The engine should be pressure-tested after assembly to confirm that the intake, exhaust, cylinder base and crankshaft seals are leak-free.
Correct carburetor jetting is essential. A new cylinder and piston will not correct an air leak, lean jetting, restricted fuel supply, ignition problem or another condition that caused the original top end to fail.
Professional installation is recommended.
