Yamaha Blaster TORS Eliminator Cable and Carburetor Top
The Yamaha Blaster TORS Eliminator Cable from Motion Pro allows you to remove the large factory TORS assembly from the top of the OEM Mikuni VM26 carburetor. The replacement carburetor top creates a cleaner, simpler connection between the stock Yamaha thumb throttle and the carburetor slide.
The Yamaha Throttle Override System, commonly called TORS, uses electrical switches and a bulky housing above the original carburetor. As these components age, damaged wiring, worn switches and poor electrical connections can cause intermittent ignition problems or make troubleshooting more difficult.
This Motion Pro kit removes the mechanical TORS housing from the carburetor and replaces the original cable arrangement with a direct throttle cable and compact carburetor cap.
Designed for the OEM Mikuni VM26 Carburetor
This kit is intended for Yamaha Blasters equipped with the original-style Mikuni VM26 carburetor and factory thumb throttle. It is not designed for aftermarket Keihin PWK, Mikuni TM or other replacement carburetors.
The Motion Pro cable is manufactured as a model-specific replacement, eliminating the need to adapt a universal throttle cable. The included carburetor top fits the OEM VM26 and replaces the oversized original TORS top.

Carburetor Modification Required
Removing the original TORS housing also removes the factory idle-speed adjustment mechanism. The OEM VM26 carburetor must therefore be modified to accept an external idle-adjustment screw.
This modification requires drilling and tapping the designated carburetor boss with a 6mm x 0.8 thread. Perform this work carefully and thoroughly remove all metal chips before reassembling the carburetor.
Important: The required 6mm x 0.8 tap is not included with this product.
After installation, adjust the throttle cable so the carburetor slide closes completely and has the correct free play. Turn the handlebars fully in both directions and confirm that engine speed does not change. Always verify smooth throttle operation before starting or riding the ATV.
