Description
The Yamaha Blaster clutch push rod and ball transfer movement through the clutch release mechanism, allowing the pressure plate to lift when you pull the clutch lever. These small internal components play an essential role in disengaging the clutch.
Inspect the push rod and ball when rebuilding your Yamaha Blaster engine or diagnosing clutch release problems. A bent rod, damaged contact surfaces, or a worn or missing ball can interfere with proper operation.
What’s Included
- One clutch push rod
- One clutch release ball
Application and Purpose
This set is for the Yamaha Blaster YFS200 clutch release mechanism. The push rod transmits force through the transmission shaft, while the ball forms a contact point within the release assembly.
It is a practical replacement set for engine rebuilds, clutch repairs, or replacing missing internal clutch hardware.
Installation and Inspection
Before assembly, inspect the mating clutch release components for wear or damage. Install and lubricate the rod and ball according to the Yamaha service manual, then set the clutch release adjustment and cable free play correctly.
Clutch drag or difficulty finding neutral can also result from cable adjustment, worn basket fingers, or damaged clutch plates. Inspect the complete system when diagnosing a release problem.
