Yamaha Blaster Clutch Kit by Bronco
This Bronco Yamaha Blaster clutch kit supplies replacement friction plates, steel plates and springs for clutch-pack service. It brings the wear components together in one kit when your existing plates and springs need replacement.
Clutch slipping, dragging or inconsistent engagement can have several causes. Check cable adjustment and the release mechanism alongside the clutch pack before deciding which components need attention.

- Replacement fiber friction plates.
- Replacement steel separator plates.
- Replacement clutch springs.
The steel plates have a non-dimpled surface. This is a clutch plate-and-spring kit; inspect the basket, inner hub and pressure plate separately during service.
Inspect Before Assembly
Check the clutch basket fingers and hub for notching. Inspect the pressure plate, release components and related hardware for wear or damage.
Replacing the clutch pack will not correct damaged mating components or an incorrectly adjusted release system. Address those issues during assembly to help achieve consistent clutch operation.
Installation and Adjustment
Prepare the friction plates according to Bronco’s instructions. Follow the Yamaha service manual for plate order, assembly procedures and tightening specifications.
Use transmission oil suitable for the Yamaha Blaster’s wet clutch. Adjust clutch cable free play after assembly, then verify engagement and release before riding.
