Yamaha Blaster Idle Screw
Replace a missing or damaged Yamaha Blaster idle screw on a Mikuni carburetor equipped for TORS elimination. This screw provides direct idle adjustment when used with the appropriate carburetor modification.
Purpose and Application
The idle screw controls the throttle slide’s resting position to adjust idle speed. It serves a different purpose from the carburetor’s air screw, which adjusts the idle mixture.
This product is intended for a compatible TORS delete arrangement. It is not a complete TORS elimination kit.

Before Installation
Confirm that the carburetor has the correct threaded mounting hole and that the screw matches the existing modification. An unmodified carburetor may require drilling and tapping before a direct idle screw can be installed. Get drill and tap kit here
Adjustment
Follow the applicable installation instructions. Check throttle-cable free play and confirm that the slide returns freely before adjusting idle speed on a warmed engine. Do not use the idle screw to compensate for a binding cable or an intake leak.
