Yamaha Blaster Leak Down Tester
The KOR Yamaha Blaster leak down tester checks engine sealing using both pressure and vacuum. Use it after rebuilding or repairing an engine, or when investigating suspected crankcase air leaks.

Why test in both directions?
A two-stroke crankcase operates under alternating pressure and vacuum. A seal may behave differently under each condition, making both tests useful when evaluating engine sealing.
Testing can help identify leakage at crankshaft seals, the cylinder base gasket, intake sealing surfaces and the crankcase joint.
When to use it
Check engine sealing after assembly, crank seal replacement or top-end repairs. Testing is also useful when diagnosing a hanging idle, difficult tuning or unexplained lean-running symptoms.
These symptoms can have several causes. Verify the source of the problem before replacing parts or changing jetting.
Using the tester
Seal the engine’s openings and follow the supplied instructions for pressure, vacuum and test duration. Check that the tester connections and block-offs seal correctly before interpreting a pressure drop.
Use a suitable leak-detection solution during the pressure test to help locate escaping air. Avoid excessive test pressure, which can damage seals.
